Our Client is a smart home automation and design integrator with locations through out Oregon. They use their experience, design capabilities and knowledge of the industry to partner with leading technology innovators to provide their customers with the utmost in performance, reliability, luxury and service in the industry.
This position is an experienced technology professional responsible for combining their technical expertise and craftsmanship to deliver, reliable, easy to use systems for the company’s clients. Working with the Project Manager this role is a hands for self-starters who plan their work, use skill and creativity to solve problems, and deliver client systems on time and on budget.
Should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential electronic systems installation or service.
Must have hours towards qualification for Oregon low voltage license.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and computer networks.
An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals.
Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction.
Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems.
Familiar with the use of proper safety equipment for specific tasks and personal protection.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 80 lbs.
$22.00 to $25.00 per hour. DOE.
