Responsibilities
Working with a high level of detail and organization the Lead Technician is required to install, program, and maintain whole house AV/technology solutions, and structured cable networks. Those holding this position will be required to provide training and leadership to mid and helper level Technicians.
Qualifications
Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential electronic systems installation or service.
Familiarity with the set up and programming of Savant, Lutron, and network systems.
Advanced knowledge of device configuration, installation, and configuration of data networks.
Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and computer networks including the ability to setup, configure, calibrate, and commission equipment after physical installation.
An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measureable plan and schedule.
Ability to work under pressure, assesses multiple demands, and manages priorities.
Ability to delegate and direct the work of others while creating a positive, learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
Job Benefits
$22.00 to $30.00 per hour. DOE.
