Our Client, based northwest of Charlotte, installs and maintains custom audio video systems in residential and commercial spaces primarily in the Lake Norman and Charlotte, NC and Hilton Head, SC and Bluffton, SC areas. Their systems include equipment and control of Audio, Video, Networking, Lighting, Shades, Media Rooms, Theaters, Security Systems and more. Their proper planning ensures quality, reliability, timely installations and efficient service. They truly know how to innovate integrated technology.
The person in this position is able to effectively manage an entire A/V project as well as own and solve problems through leadership. Additiionally you are able to Install, program and troubleshoot control systems (Crestron and Control4), troubleshoot and commission residential and commercial integration projects.
Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential electronic systems installation or service.
Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measureable plan and schedule.
Ability to work under pressure, assesses multiple demands, and manages priorities.
Ability to delegate and direct the work of others while creating a positive, learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and computer networks including the ability to setup, configure, calibrate, and commission equipment after physical installation.
An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals.
Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction.
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour. DOE.
