Our Client is a rapidly growing smart home automation and design integrator with locations through out the West. This position, based in Reno, is responsible for leading Installation Technicians, organizing and supervising the installation of integrated residential technology systems. In addition this position will combine their technical expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver reliable, easy to use systems on time and on budget for the company’s clients.
Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential and/or commercial electronic systems installation or service with specific knowledge in Crestron or Control4, Extron and Lutron control systems.
Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and computer networks including the ability to setup, configure, calibrate, and commission equipment after physical installation.
An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measureable plan and schedule.
Ability to work under pressure, assesses multiple demands, and manages priorities.
Ability to delegate and direct the work of others while creating a positive, learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
$20.00 to $30.00 per hour. DOE.
